Mini-Tressa

So this morning I went to seminary like every morning and as I am most mornings I was late. However the fact that I was late is not important to the rest of my story. So I got to seminary and I find out that we were playing a review game of things we learned this year. Now you needed to know that I think that seminary games are fun but I don't normally get very excited about them for the simple fact that I'm no good at them.

Now Tressa she use to get really excited when playing them she'd get pumped and answer the question really fast. In fact earlier in the year Steven said some thing about him having a chance to win now that Tressa was gone.

So I get put on a team with Cortney and Sara, and Cortney asked If we could be called the Kortneys. She said it would make her day! Sara didn't care and I think Cortney is funny when she's happy so the Kortneys we became. So I just got on a tangent but I thought It was funny so I put it in.

So there were 3 types of questions. one type were you look up the Scripture mastery, another were you answer trivia about the scriptures, and one were you had to answer trivia about the kids in the class.

I rocked on ice when it came to the trivia and I ended up getting really excited and I would raise my hand and answer really fast. I was so in to it that Ashley called me "Mini-Tressa". Because of my enthusiasm my team got second place.

p.s. Do you remember my unlucky button I found a while back. I kept it in my poket for like a week, and when I told sister McKay about that she thought it was really funny. So the question about me was "Who has an unlucky button in there pocket."

  1. Rachel, I get a kick out of reading your blogs just like other people are. I was just reading the comments on your past blogs. I think that you are getting more comments posted than anyone else in the family. That means you are writing thought provoking themes. Writing is a good medium for you. It is allowing you to express all the details you have in your head and craft the presentation to your audience.

I hope you will keep writing. I hope you will write your life history and log your thoughts on life and your testimony. Perhaps you can do this offline where you don't have to worry about your topics. But keep writing online as this is a great way for people to keep up to date on you.

  2. By the way, did I mention that your profile picture looks like the one they use on the "Dear Abbey" column?
